Recently, Google has announced that they have launched seven new generative AI courses for free and added three more courses to the platform this week. I hope they will continue to expand these courses.


Review: Google engineers do a good job by taking you through small snippets of vocabulary, structural patterns, and practical exercises. Most courses can be completed in less than an hour, and I completed the entire learning path in an afternoon. There is a need for some thought in the quizzes, but if you paid attention to the units, you can pass it.


Generative AI Learning Path — no cost training

Google also has at least 10 beginner, intermediate, and advanced AI/ML courses available at an organized low cost. You can pay for various credentials or simply get an Innovators Plus membership. For $299, you get access to over 700 labs, skill badges and courses, certification exam vouchers, and approximately $1,000 in Google Cloud credit.


OpenAI's ChatGPT courses with Deep Learning AI:

For a limited time, ChatGPT has some free official courses available in partnership with Deep Learning. The Deep Learning AI courses are created by Andrew Ng, the founder of Deep Learning AI.


Review: These folks spend less time on theory and dive straight into prompt engineering, working through practical examples like summarizing reviews on a website. They don't test your knowledge, at least not in the free courses. So, completing these free courses won't get you any certified credentials, but you can learn a lot of useful things by diving right into a sandbox that will be immediately useful.



They also offer specializations that can take up to three months to complete. These specializations include courses like Mathematics for Machine Learning and Data Science Specialization, which are provided with Coursera's $49 per month subscription.
